Where to stay in Galicia

Hi all

New to the forum and hoping someone out there can give me some ideas on where to stay in Galicia. I'm off there at the end of Sept with my girlfriend (who won't admit that she's got way more skills than me), and we've got a week to make the most of the beautiful scenery and uncrowded beach breaks.

We're pretty sorted on where to surf, but could do with some pointers on where to stay. Preferably self catering, preferably on the coast and preferably in a picturesque and fairly quiet spot...

Oh yeah, flying into La Coruna and will be hiring a car from there.

Any thoughts, comments and/or recommendations on suitable towns/villages/hamlets or whatever, gratefully received.

It depends which places are u going to surf. But if u are planning to surf on the west side of Coruña, find a hotel in a small town called Caion, its really nice. I always camp in Coruña so can't give u any more info
