Surf Schools in Gran Canaria

Heading to Gran Canaria next week (to Puerto Rico), would like to know any details of good surf schools in the island.

I know the surf ain't the best there, but would like to get out 2 or 3 days during the week, probably on the south coast.

Any one got feedback either positive or negative on their experiences there?

I have been down there a couple of times, and I think the beste surf is in the north. I have never seen any good surf in the south, save one wave just south of Las Palmas.
