Bilbo board info?

Bilbo board info?

Postby buffalonick » Sun May 14, 2006 5:06 pm

G'day, I have this real retro board which must be knocking on 30 yrs of age, but i'm not really sure. Can amyone tell me a bit about it? what i know - Its a bilbo board, roughly 6'3 long and 3 1/2 inches thick in the middle. What i really want to know is,

age, value, should i continue surfing it or does it belong in a museum, where it was made, what kind of board it is

theres some pics attached - looks abit tired ay
actually they dont seem to have been put on - il work on that

its really fun to surf tho its got massive repairs all over it and i made a fin for it. When i put the new fin in, i peeled loads of fibreglass off and revealed a number glassed in - any relevance? ('No 720' is written on under the fin slot)

any help would be great - thanks

They have a website, have you checked it out?

http://www.bilbosurf.com/bilbo_surfboards.asp

you might be able to email the sales team and ask them??

The company is English, so im guessing your board would have been made in England.
