firewire addvance 7'6, opinions?

Hey guys so theres a guy selling his firewire addvance 7'6 for $500 aust when it costs $1000. Is that a good deal? What type of surfer would this board suit? I'm at the stage of beginner/ intermediate and am deciding on something for summer with a bit more size to catch those little waves now. Is this worth it or just go for a cheaper minimal somewhere else?

Cheers.

Don't touch firewire's!! They are a nightmare to repair and not good to surf either! There's a reason you see so many of these boards getting sold on. Stick to pu foam and fibreglass, easy to repair and still haven't been surpassed in performance!
