Fins

I am a moderate level surfer who has been surfing for awhile now and have surfed a number of breaks from Hawaii to California. My question is do certain fins actually help a lot for someone of my talent? Using FCS as an example, would i really surf that much better on there Ultra Light Epoxy H-2 fins then on some more mainstream Glass Flex fins? Can you really feel that much of a difference?
