HELP With BUILDING FIBER GLASS SKIMBOARD

k i have a couple questions when building a skimboard. hahha

1# how do you make your board after its all done look shiny and not so dull
2#how many sheets of fiber glasss is manditory
3# whay is your prefered fiber glass and resin
4# how do you paint it cause ive herd useing certain paints will melt it and i know or at least think i kno that u have to paint it befor you glass it. thanx and cant wait to here from someone.

dont to build your own is my advice
go with zap or slotstik
somebody who fully knows
they use different materials than just fiberglass and resin and foam too
