Tiki surfboards

Postby TheRedDarren » Sat Dec 27, 2008 5:11 pm

Hey guys, I'm in the Croyde area for about a week from the 1st of January and really fancy a new board, I believe Tiki are made in this area? I'm looking at a template similar to the Tiki Sumo.
1st question is are they a well made board?
2nd is is it worth talking to the shaper or just get one off the shelf?
Thanks for the feedback guys.

I think Tikki boards are made overseas in the far east then shipped over here....but I could be wrong.

I you are in the area then worth speaking to Fluid Juice, Black and White or Gulfstream but not sure if they have off the shelf stuff that would do. You may have to wait for the board to be made up.

yea you're right mate, they are. Tested one over the weekend and was a little disappointed with it, also tested a Nigel Semmens custom British made board with the same dimensions and it was a world of difference, so I put my order in! ;D can't wait!!!!
