Pope Bisect Travel Board

Has anyone ever tried this board before? Is it any difference than regular long board ? Where can one rent this for a trial ?

My brother bought one of these boards (10') and the stick is light as a feather. The whole board is made of carbon fiber which makes it feel like you are carrying a boogie board. The 10' isn't too convient as fas as travel but you can definitely check it in as luggage instead of paying 150 dollars extra baggage. If you have 1000 plus dollars to spend go for it , but you may want to insure it.

Did you try your brother's board ?

As for travelling convenience, the boards seems easier to carry than a one piece 10' ones. I'm not too worry about the excess luggage fees. Some airlines charge nothing so long as the board is no longer than 9'. If you're 5'4 like me you'd be struggling just carrying 9' board on its own. Let alone carrying it while pushing your luggage trolley. I only carried 7'6 on my trip to Bali and even then I had some challenges at the airport when it was packed with people. It's nice if you can just dump the board on the trolley and push it around as opposed to carrying it with strap on your shoulder.

Price wise, man I would have to safe up for a while for this. That's why I want to know more about it first. If the board is as good as any conventional longboard then it's worth the effort to safe up and get it. Mind you most good longboard is in a range of $1000 anyway.

Yeah man I rode the board a couple of times and it was super light and easy to turn. They are pretty sweet and if you are going to spend around a grand for a board I would go ahead and save up a couple hundred more and spring for the board. I would probably go for the epoxy model though so it can withstand a little more abuse. Take it easy and I hope this helps.
