Looking to buy cheap beater longboard- CA, USA

Hey Everyone,
I'm helping a friend shop for a cheap-ass beater longboard for her first board. Something along the lines of a thruster fin configuration, 7ft-9ft board, 20in or more wide, ugly as sin and cheap. Funboard/hybrid size would also work.
I think a friend of mine can help repair any dings and damage to the board so it doesn't matter if it's got some cosmetic damage. Let me know if you have a beater you'd be willing to part with on the cheap.

In orange county there is an american legion post with what appears to be a daily swap meet, and there's a guy there selling some old boards, mostly longboards. If you are ever down in southern ca, check it out, it's on Beach Blvd in orange county, near huntington beach, there are also tons of board shops in the area selling both new and used boards.
