Feedback on Isle Noserider longboard?

Does anyone have any feedback on the Isle noserider longboard? I know they are a popout from Asia. Sold in San Diego, California. Thanks

Since you are in the US I'd probably look to Swaylocks for a whole lot of reviews.
It is actually quite difficult to put a review on any board as the wide range of boards people ride around the world and this is a world wide forum.
All the Isle boards appear to be be made in China specials and are quite cheap based out of San Diego. Been around since 2004 according to their website.
A lot depends on your level of surfing and what you aspire to.
Cheap is not necessarily the way to go but if you are learning and finding out if you want to surf then maybe cheap or second hand is.

So? Your computer, DVD player, TV, smartphone, digital camera and iPad were made in China; does that mean they're all worthless trash?

Sorry, don't mean to be harsh, but this automatic China-bashing isn't always justified, loss of American jobs notwithstanding. Most products made in China are American, made to strict specifications in Chinese factories. That doesn't mean they're "Chinese."

It would be much more helpful if this kind of response could be more specific, instead of the same, tired old "it's made overseas, so it's garbage." So what specifically are you referring to? Does the tail slip in turns? Does it ding too easily? Is it stiff or heavy? You get my drift...

I' m writing this on my Chinese made IPad , I have a Japanese car, my camera and lenses are made in Asia, I have a Surftech shortboard, I am going surfing in Taiwan, I will probably come back with some gadgets,

I have. However found that many quick quid sellers of surfboards that pop up overnight often buy a container load of pretty ordinary surfboards Often factory seconds from a maker for a Brand Name and use a makeup logo to sell to beginners, the boards can be of any construction but are poorly made, they are sold by their thousands to traveling European would be surfers in Australia. This I imagine is happening in America as to Isle surfboards specifically I don't know.
Is it about China bashing, NO, it is just a warning about lousy product! A heads up= caveat emptor!

Buy one and see for yourself. You really won't see any difference in how they surf yet, but in a couple of years when you get a bit better and know what you are looking for, you will probably end up surfing a locally made custom. You'll feel the difference immediately.

The Chinese make some stuff really well, they also make some stuff really poorly. Surfboards just happen to be one of the latter. Nobody is China bashing, just anybody who has been surfing for a while has experience of these boards.

I've got 3 Isle boards... 2 SUP's and 1 9'2" performance longboard. I would give the SUP's a VERY favorable rating... they work really well and seem to be of decent quality for the money. The longboard has a great shape and rides REALLY well. After learning on an NSP, I bought the Isle longboard --- it paddles much faster and turns alot easier than the NSP. I'm VERY happy with the way it rides. BUT, although the epoxy glass job looks good and is nicely finished, it is a bit on the thin side and has dinged very easily.

So, without bashing the fine people of the Chinese republic, I bought an Isle surfboard a while back (long ago), on my 2nd go out it was about 2 ft overhead and I snapped it. I never had a new board snap before and haven't since. When I checked out the construction, i thad one layer of thin fiberglass. I complained and got the next one at cost, but they would not replce it. I used it for a few years but always had to send it to the shop, seemed to pick up dings by just looking at it. So, Isle is a no go for me, from personal experience. It has been a while since I bought one, maybe they got better, but doubt it.

By the way, it did surf fine, so if you are into doing your own ding repairs get it.
