channel island neck beard??

anyone have Channel island Neck beard?

thinking of buying one and wanted to know what they are like

All my shortboards are thumbtails. Why? Because for me the squash tail felt like it pivoted too fast on turns, like the corner of the board dug in and swung the surfboard too hard for me. I've been surfing for a long time, I never went back to a squash tail.

So, following my weird way of thinking, a sharp corner might make for a board that turns and pivots harder, which might be what you want, or not, leave the rest up to you.
