No one knows what's best for you, No one knows how well you surf or if you can. Shorter borad? What was your other board? Was there one at all? Go rent a few and try them out first, talk to those you rent from. Then you will have some idea of what you have the most fun on.

If you have a local shaper close by go talk to him! That's what they do for a living, make boards that are perfect for their rider. Hope this helps.
