we are not trying to be mean alot of us have tryed to relpy to your threads and help u but u don't seem to want our help u seem to already know what u want. when we say try as many boards as u can we do not mean go and buy lots what is meant by that is hire some try your mates boards out and things like that.

Okay, the thread was a bit long for me to read the whole thing, but I guess the gist of it was 'what shape for a front foot surfer'?

As someone who is front foot heavy, what works for me is to have the widest point forward of 'normal' and to have a relatively narrow tail.
What really doesnt work, at least from a manouvreability point of view, is volume in the tail. So fishes, quads etc (which I do still ride) turn really slowly as there isnt enough weight over the fat tail and the fins.

Also, length doesnt really work with a front foot bias - better to have a relatively short board (Im 6' and ride a 6'3) and hide the volume in the thickness of the board, rather than the length.

But thats what works for me, and Im no expert, so you know the drill - talk to your friendly local shaper

pornstar: the reason for the answers you got was the question your posted, so here are three answers for three different ways of explaining your problem:

1) If you are a begginer and you keep pearling: You need to work on your form, don't take off straight toward the beacch, paddle and then turn to catch the wave, sideways down the face, not forward.

2) If you are a experienced and are having problems with board wobble or squirleyness: change the fins, something bigger or longer rake

3) If you are experienced and you do use your front foot more: if you like it buy a smaller one, you will whip it around easier, if you dont' like it get either a thicker or longer one, it will slow you down enough to gain control.
