Epic wave on the North Shore of Oahu. Gets seriously big and can be surfable at 25ft. Works on a north west swell and southerly offshore. The spot is very busy on (relatively) smaller days. The bigger the surf gets the thinner the numbers in the lineup.Big waves can be found here from October to March. Shorebreak can be nasty here but there are still plenty of nutball spongers willing to take it on.
How to get there Waimea is located on the North Shore of Oahu and is found on the Kamehameha Highway. Access & Parking Info / Cost Where to Stay Equipment Hire Surf Schools When its Flat?
