Praia das Macas is just around the corner from the more known Praia Grande, where the World Body Boarding championships takes place every year. Its a beach break with rocks on both the right and left side but sand in the middle. Safe for begging and great for all levels
How to get there From Lisbon, head to Sintra and then to Praia das Macas, There is a train from Lisbon city centre to Sintra and a bus or tram from Sintra to the beach.
