The hostels and surfcamps arrange transportation from lisbon. Or you can come by bus from Rodoviária Expresso, Sete Rios, Lisbon and leave in the last bus stop (Peniche bus station). The hostels/surfcamps arrange (normally free) transportation to Casais do Baleal.

Equipment HireThe closest surf shop is Drop Surf Center (5 min walking) but there are many more.
Surf SchoolsThere is Drop Surf Center as the closest surf school, Rip Curl SurfCamp in summer, Peniche surfcamp, Baleal surfcamp, etc. All excellent surf schools.
When its Flat?Peniche fortress (was a political prison) is 4 km away. The Berlengas islands (a diving paradise) are 1h distance by ferry. A bowling center is 20 min driving. A karting is 8 min driving. Óbidos a historical village that organises a big medieval fair is 15 min driving. A huge chinese garden is 20 min driving. Lisboa is 1 h driving.
