Wave Quality Rating 3 Type of Wave Beach break Direction of Wave Right & left Bottom Sand Difficulty Beginners Crowd Level Can Get Busy Hazards none General Description A consistent left and right beach break on the Central Coast a little north of Peniche. The exposed break gets plenty of swell and works on most swell sizes.
It does not get too crowded and even when there are a lot of surfers out there are still plenty of waves.

Belgas hosted the second day of the mens competition of the Rip Curl Pro Search 2009, being a back-up location for the event.
