Surf Spot Details

Wave Quality Rating 3 Type of Wave Beach break Direction of Wave Right & left Bottom Sand & Rock Difficulty Beginners Crowd Level Can Get Busy Hazards Rips General Description Sauvaterre has several different breaks with waves breaking on the sand and sand covered reefs. Works in smaller swells but gets good in a large north westerly swell.

This is a popular stretch of coast and it gets busy when the swell is there although if you are prepared to have a bit of a walk you can usually find a spot with minimal crowds.
