Small wave beach break in central Capreton. Offshore - easterly. Waves sometimes break off the breakwater. There are numerous breaks along this stretch of Hossegor Coast and various peaks offer high quality waves. This area is know for some world class beachbreaks and throughout Autumn and Winter there are consistent hollow barrels to surf.
How to get there Make your way to Hossegor by car. This is the best way as you can search around the local breaks to see which is offering the best banks. The central beach can be found with a short walk from the center of town. Follow any surfboard crammed roof rack. Access & Parking Info / Cost Where to Stay Equipment Hire There are plenty of hire places around where you can rent a board and wetsuit. Demand can be high in peak tourist season so if you do need to hire stuff make sure you get in early. Surf Schools Again, there are numerous schools on offer. When its Flat? Golf, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wine tours / tasting, sailing, canoe trips, white water rafting, fishing trips, jet skiing, thermal baths, exploring the Basque Country, cave visits - so plenty to keep you occupied on flat days.
