General Description
Nice white beach, very good waves, unfortunaly Hendaye knows the word tide, during low the waves aren't very good, but once there is a high tide it rocks!!. Unfortunaly you have to deal with a lot of rocks and a lot of beginner groups which make surfing difficult when you have to fight with 10 to 20 beginners for a wave. You can use both short and longboards.
General Info
How to get there
By car, by plane and by bus
Access & Parking Info / CostWhen I was there the parking was free, could be possible that during summer time you have to pay to park. Tip: come early otherwise you don't have a parking spot (along the beach)
Where to StayThere are a few hotels and a lot of cottages and houses for rent along the shore, perfect because they give a great view over the ocean, you just have to walk to the other side of the road to get into the sea
Equipment HireLot of small shops where they rent you a surfboard, wetsuit etc. for a good price. Prices will probably be higher during summertime.
Surf SchoolsA lot of surf schools, this can also be a disadvantage for a more intermediate surfer who has to deal with all these classes.
When its Flat?During low tide
