One of the UK's premier surf spots. Located a short walk from Newquay Town Center. A lovely beach, patrolled in the summer months by lifeguards. The break works on pretty much all swells and tides and under the right conditions products quality hollow waves. Offshore E/SE
How to get there Head to the South West and get on the A303 then A30. Newquay is well signposted. Take the scenic coastal route and check out plenty of surf spots on the way down. Access & Parking Info / CostAccess to Fistral is along the Headland Road - check the Headland Hotel on your way down. Don't even think about parking in the height of summer. Where to Stay Try B&Bs. you can't stay in your car, you always get moved on. Equipment Hire Most of the shops in the town hire gear. The prices are pretty much the same. Hire for several days to reduce cost. Surf Schools Lots When its Flat? Check out Newquay nightlife if you don't mind Chavs or Stag/Hen parties. Lots of great beaches to catch some sun. The Rip Curl boardmasters is well worth a visit every August.
