A dredging, semi-evil right-hand barrel that breaks hard over a shallow rock platform. When the swell exceeds 1.m The Point starts to cook, holding up to 4 m. The wave starts with a steep take off and fast tube section over the rock shelf (First rock). The tube section from first rock is followed by a fast wAll section that will tube again on low tide, and this is followed by a fairly a full shoulder section that can then meet up with the beach break. Popular wave but not for the inexperienced reef/point rider.
