Wave Quality Rating 5 Type of Wave Reef break Direction of Wave Right Bottom Coral reef Difficulty Intermediate surfer Crowd Level Not Too Bad Hazards none General Description A consistent reef break accessable by boat from the surrounding resorts. Best surfed first thing in the morning on a south or south west swell. This wave can get big and is a classic when the conditions are right - it provides long, fast barreling waves.


The water is super clear and it is a real experience to see the colourful coral shooting past as you surf along this wave.

General Info

How to get there This spot is only accessable by boat so you have to stay at one of the local resorts. You can get a boat from Plantation Island, Seashell Resort or stay on Namotu. Access & Parking Info / Cost Access is by boat from local resorts. Expect to pay at least $30 for a trip out to the wave. Where to Stay Stay at any of the local resorts. Plantation Island is a good place to stay as it is a little cheaper than some of the others.

Equipment Hire Bring all your gear with you. This includes ding repair, spare fins & leashes. Ideally have at least one backup board When its Flat? Game fishing, golf, snorkeling. Chilling on the beach.
