A short walk from Barwon Heads is the good beachbreak at Thirteenth Beach. It is pretty consistent and waves can be found all year round, though not so consistent in the summer.
There are short left and rights to be had, the wave here can hold some decent size. Locals are resonably friendly but as always, be respectful.
