Around 14 kilometres to the north of Agadir and a couple to the south of Taghazout is the small village of Tamraght. Itís also where youíll find Surf Town Morocco and a number of long right-hand point breaks nearby Anchor Point, Killer Point and Banana Point to name just a few.

If you want to have a good explore of the coast it pays to hire a car but this doesnít come cheap. Morocco is certainly a destination for the more adventurous traveler Ė expect a bit of a culture shock but an awesome experience. Think harsh but ruggedly beautiful landscape, hospitable and unique culture along with persistent cat-calls and mint tea.

The surf season runs from September to May, which sees swell coming from lows in the Atlantic and light offshore trade winds. Itís most consistent between November and the end of March
