Similar in rails/rocker/contours to the lc-3, the speed sports a narrower squash tail and pulled in pointed nose. built between 7'2 to 7'10 and 21 1/2 wide, this shape is great for the surfer who demands more power and punch, or enjoys riding more challenging conditions on a mid-size board. northern california surfers enjoy the pull-in nose in windy, choppy conditions (not that anyone really enjoys those conditions)... It just works great! soft, thin 50/50 rails forward transitioning into a hard speed edge tail rail, with just a touch of concave bottom contour nose to loosen the rail to rail transition. |
