| My short board design is one that i have stuck with over the years for quite a few reasons. The over all outline has remained the same for the last 4 years with only minor adjustments to widths through the nose and tail. I have widened the board just forward of the front foot to produce more paddling power and planing area which allows me to add entry rocker to loosen up the board. Originally a bump squash with pronounced bumps i have rounded out the bumps a bit to allow for a more easily found sweet spot. Tail rocker is standard, not too much and not too little, with concaves to accommodate. I keep the bottoms flat under the front foot for instantaneous acceleration on take off and easy pla .....
