The 6ft 8 Wide Boy from Matt Adams is a performance board with the same overall template and rocker as his performance shortboard, with a little more width added to the nose, mid section and tail. This board is aimed at the experienced surfer who wants to throw his weight around but needs a little help and a little more foam!
Matt Adams opened his own factory 5 years ago having earned his stripes at various Cornish surfboard factories, including Nigel Semmens at Ocean Magic and even spending time in France working with Hawaiian shaping legend Eric Arakawa at HIC (Hawaiian Island Creations). In a relatively short space of time Matt has been widely accepted as one of the finest shapers in the country, a fact born out by the impressive lineup of pro team riders choosing Adams Surfboards over the myriad on offer.
The Adams team of riders reads like a whos who of British surfing, Dan Mole Joel, Russ Winter, Ben Skinner, James Parry, Lee Bartlett, Adam Griffiths, Ashley Braunton and Sophie Skinner. Face it, if its good enough for this lot, its probably good enough for you! |
